Nina Hribar

I am Nina, a creator and explorer of the visible and the invisible at heart. My painting journey began at the end of 2021, when I started discovering the world of art and everything my imagination could bring to canvas.

I had no previous painting experience, only passion and the joy of exploring new techniques and styles. What drove me was curiosity, not only in the artistic sense, but also in terms of my growth as a creator.

Every painting is a process of learning, of discovering something new within myself. I paint when I feel it and I paint to tell a story, drawing ideas from my own experiences, emotions, conversations with people, and above all from nature.

In my work, I use different materials, though acrylic paint is the main medium. I also use stencils, collage paper, acrylic sprays, inks, and selective oil details to give the painting more vibrancy.

I always begin with a prepared digital sketch, then transfer it onto canvas through texture, rhythm, and color. I often allow the first layers to remain visible because I do not want the work to pretend to be perfect.

I collaborate with EYL because I believe every person leaves a mark on this world, and what kind of mark we leave depends on how deeply we know ourselves. Through painting, I want each person to feel their unique story more deeply and remember that every human is a work of art in their own right.
